Anita Lall
I am passionate about creating an excellent learning environment for every student attending the college. I started my career as a research scientist specializing in childhood cancers and made the move into teaching at a FE College over 20 years ago. I saw this as an opportunity to use my experience as a scientist to encourage and inspire students, and I have never regretted this move.

I have been a primary school teacher for nearly twenty years after a brief spell working in marketing. I have taught all year groups across the primary phase. I am particularly passionate about early years in schools (including nursery) plus I am a qualified SENCO. I was previously headteacher of a small North Yorkshire primary school for 8 years before becoming headteacher of Glusburn Primary school in September 2022. Glusburn is a two-form entry primary school of over 400 pupils so quite a change!
