What are Relational Approaches?
They are whole school approaches to Social Emotional and Mental Health needs of children and young people. These approaches offer a framework which provides emotional support to all children and young people and especially those who have more developed SEMH needs.
What is on offer?
The board would fund training costs in your chosen relational approach. Please note there is certain criteria for this training e.g. at least one member of SLT is to already be trained or can be trained in this offer. The board also require a commitment from your school to complete short impact surveys so that the effectiveness of the training can be reviewed.
